Handel’s magisterial oratorio is one of the real gems of Western music.  It conveys Handel’s powerful interpretation of the life of Jesus through music.  This study offers a careful examination of the biblical texts that Handel put to music, as well as the music itself.  What better way to focus on Lent than to listen to and pray about how Handel presented the life and Passion of Christ.  Hallelujah!
