We will come together in Mission Hall for a Rise Against Hunger meal packaging event. Rise Against Hunger uses an assembly line process to package thousands of food packets, which contain 20 vitamins and minerals and become nutritious meals by adding hot water. Rise Against Hunger is growing a global movement to end hunger by empowering communities, nourishing lives and responding to emergencies. The mission of Rise Against Hunger is to alleviate hunger through early childhood development centers in South Africa that are improving access to quality education and nutritious meals for children ages 0-6.
