Sunday

Lives are changed through our worship of God.

Providence strives to create worship experiences that are welcoming and provide each person a connection to God’s mission for their life. Worship comes in many forms, and you can experience two styles of worship services on Sunday mornings at Providence.

Sanctuary Choir

If you are attending the 10 am service, you will be delighted with our Sanctuary Choir and uplifted by hymns and classical music.

You will appreciate the soloists, grand piano, pipe organ, and instrumentalists that enhance our worship.

The Sanctuary Choir rehearses Thursday evenings at 8:00 in the Sanctuary. If you would like to sing, just show up. No audition is required.

Worship Band

If you are attending the 11:15 am service, you will experience the joy of worship lead by our Worship Band that includes new Christian songs and modern renditions of traditional hymns.

Technology such as videos and slides help integrate the service’s content and flow.

Prayground

Our Prayground is located in the back corner of Taylor Hall during the Contemporary Service. A Prayground is a space for children and their grown ups to experience worship in a space just for them during our 11:15am Contemporary Service!

A Prayground is a designated place where young children can experience worship through age-appropriate worship materials and tools that will help keep them engaged in what is happening — materials such as children’s Bibles and books, fidgets, coloring/drawing materials, soft toys.

When you arrive at any service, you will be greeted and given a bulletin that outlines the service and includes a number of announcements. Visitors are welcomed from the pulpit but we won’t ask you to “raise your hand if you’re new!”

Sunday School

Between Labor Day and Memorial Day we have Sunday School for all ages at 10 am. Childcare is provided throughout the Sunday morning experience for children
(infants – 3 years old).
